Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) is one of the most popular vegetable and is the world’s largest vegetable crop after potato and sweet potato. It is said to be the native of tropical America. World produces around 117 million tons of tomatoes from an area of 43 lakh hectares (average of 2001 to 2005). Globally, China is the largest tomato producing country almost contributing for 25% of world’s tomato production. The production in China during 2005 was During 2005 China was 31.64 million tons followed by USA with 12.76 million tons, Turkey 9.7 million tons, Italy 7.81 million tons and India and Egypt each with 7.6 million tons. These six countries contributed for around 60% of world’s tomatoes production.

Tea Drinking Tea is most consumed drink in the world after water. The tea served in the tea ceremony is called matcha (pronounced mahcha) and is powdered tea of the highest quality. In Iran and Afghanistan, drink green tea as a thirst quencher and black tea as satisfying warming refreshment from little porcelain bowls. In Egypt, without milk tea is brewed strong and served in glasses, and sometimes flavoured with sugar or mint leaves. Russians drink both black and green teas usually from glasses. Tea is also widely consumed beverage in America. Iced teas comprise about 80 percent of all teas consumed in United States. But the fashion drinking hot black tea with milk is now growing.

These tea grades are subjective and can vary from region to region. As is known, the Whole Leaf, Fanning’s and the Dusts are all made from the same leaves, undergo the same process of manufacturing and is separated based on particle size during the process of sorting.
